IRCC Issues New Express Entry Invitations to Canadian Experience Class Candidates

Canada held a new Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Express Entry draw on March 17, 2026, issuing 4,000 invitations to apply for permanent residence. The minimum CRS score required in that round was 507.

This draw followed another CEC round held on March 3, 2026, where IRCC issued 6,000 invitations and the CRS cut-off was 508. The March 17 round therefore reflected a slight drop in the score threshold for CEC candidates.

The Canadian Experience Class is one of the three permanent residence programs managed through Express Entry.
