Ontario Issues New Invitations to Foreign Workers, Graduates, and Other Priority Candidates

Ontario held five targeted invitation rounds on March 25, 2026, through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program’s Employer Job Offer streams, issuing a total of 1,112 invitations to apply. The draws focused on candidates with job offers in different regions of the province and covered the Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills streams.

The invitations were issued across the Greater Toronto Area, Southwestern Ontario, Central Ontario excluding the GTA, Eastern Ontario, and Northern Ontario. According to the reported draw details, the GTA received the largest share of invitations, while Northern Ontario received the fewest. Minimum scores varied by stream and region, reflecting Ontario’s targeted approach rather than a single province-wide threshold.

The occupations selected in these rounds spanned several sectors, including technology, health care, administration, business services, construction, transportation, and skilled trades. The In-Demand Skills stream was used more narrowly and, in the reported March 25 rounds, was tied to candidates with job offers as home support workers in select regions.

These draws fit within Ontario’s broader Employer Job Offer system. The Foreign Worker stream is generally for candidates with a job offer in a skilled occupation at TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3. The International Student stream is for eligible recent graduates with a qualifying Ontario job offer, while the In-Demand Skills stream targets specific occupations identified by the province.
